Kremena Ilcheva
Kremena (Mena) is a British Bulgarian and currently a Head Chef at a central London Restaurant. She has been living in London for nearly a decade and is a talented former hairdresser, dancer, business woman, movie and TV supporting artist, model, and mother. She is a polyglot and will run the Wine Bar and Coffee Shop we are planning in the gallery. Always Nik’s muse and go-to model for all of his creative output.
With several TV and movie credits to her name, including being on screen with Kate Winslet, Kiera Knightley, Matt Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Dominic Cooper and Jack Lowden are a few of the stars that Kremena has been selected for supporting artist roles with.
A former business woman of many years she ran a highly successful hairdressing company in her native Bulgaria with clients from around the world.
She speaks several languages including her native Bulgarian, Russian, English, Serbian, Macedonian, with a smattering of German and Italian.
Kremena studied dance for several years and performed on stage in multiple shows before she turned 19 when she turned her attention to hairdressing and motherhood. Raising two beautiful children, Anton 27, and Teodora 23 she opened her hair salon in her home town of Pomorie, Bulgaria which catered for the huge Russian holiday residential clientele that occupied an area of the town nicknamed ‘Little Moscow’.
After 10 successful years she embarked on a new venture to the UK, settling in North London and retraining as a chef. She learned English and pushed forward with her career in catering which has now culminated in being a Head Chef in a Central London restaurant.
